Argon arc welder — Guthrie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Guthrie County, Iowa. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
