Groundworker — Livingston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Livingston County, Michigan. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio On the job you will handle: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Full-time, day shift.
