Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot You will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment.
