Vacancy available: security guard (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a security guard in Douglas County, Illinois. You will work at a hotel entrance. On a typical shift you will respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours • Basic reading of English and local language for registers 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
