CNC milling operator — Polk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Polk County, Iowa. The job is at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
