Vacancy available: horizontal milling machine operator (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Ellis County, Kansas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges You will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours.
