Fabrication workshop technician — Blount County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Blount County, Alabama. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. You will insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile. What we are looking for: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
