Immediate opening: we are hiring a baker in Jefferson County, Georgia. The job is at a cake shop. On the job you will handle: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics 6+ years on the tools preferred.
