Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Arapahoe County, Colorado. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On a typical shift you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; load and index turning tools in the turret.
