Now hiring: CNC mill setter-operator (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Fresno County, California. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery.
