Ladle pourer — Faskari

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Faskari, Katsina State. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
