Rough terrain crane operator — Green County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Green County, Kentucky. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. On a typical shift you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
