Immediate opening: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Putnam County, Ohio. The job is on a garment production line. Day to day you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
