Vacancy available: punch press operator (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Gilchrist County, Florida. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Your main tasks: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Six days a week, one day off.
