Tiling assistant — Hempstead County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Hempstead County, Arkansas. You will be based in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. On the job you will handle: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints Requirements: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
