Plant operator (dozer) — LaPorte County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in LaPorte County, Indiana. Day to day you will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; refuel the machine and record running hours; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
