Elevator technician — Atchison County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Atchison County, Kansas. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway.
