You should have: • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Valid PSARA / security guard licence On a typical shift you will detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover.
