System formwork carpenter • Carbon County, Utah

Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Carbon County, Utah. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Day-to-day duties: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
