CO2 welder — Knox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Knox County, Texas. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
