Head baker — West Berkshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in West Berkshire, England. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day-to-day duties: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Score the top of loaves before baking • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Rotating shifts.
