Fabricator-welder — Cavalier County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Cavalier County, North Dakota. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
