Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Scott County, Illinois. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
