Precision welder • Cherokee County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Cherokee County, Iowa. You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
