Vacancy available: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Granite County, Montana. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
