Earthmoving equipment operator — Benton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Benton County, Iowa. The role involves: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms You should have: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Full-time with occasional weekends. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
