Confectioner — Gumel

We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Gumel, Jigawa State. Day-to-day duties: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
