Great opportunity: sewing machine operator (Delta State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Oshimili North, Delta State. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Full-time, day shift.
