Urgent requirement: die-casting operator (Minnesota)

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings We offer $2,750 per project plus benefits.
