Now hiring: we are hiring a truck driver in Door County, Wisconsin. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules Requirements: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
