Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Vinton County, Ohio. You will work at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Rotating shifts.
