Immediate opening: blocklayer (Idaho)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Jefferson County, Idaho. The job is on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
