We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Breathitt County, Kentucky. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $10,500 per project, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
