EHS coordinator • Somerset County, Maine

Now hiring: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Somerset County, Maine. You will work at a manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions 3+ years on the tools preferred.
