Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Hamilton County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54).
