Groundsman — Lancaster County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Lancaster County, Virginia. Day to day you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Part-time with flexible hours.
