We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. You will work on a new-build housing development. The role involves cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even. What we are looking for: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
