Fabricator-welder — Dallam County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Dallam County, Texas. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Full-time, day shift.
