Ironing operator — Power County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Power County, Idaho. The role involves check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
