D6/D8 dozer operator • Crawford County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Crawford County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems On the job you will handle: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Six days a week, one day off. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
