Gas commissioning technician — Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Putnam County, Tennessee. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Part-time with flexible hours.
