Rebar fixer — Madison County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Madison County, Mississippi. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
