Join our team: milling machine operator (Ohio)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Huron County, Ohio. Day to day you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
