Your main tasks: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
