CNC milling operator wanted in Decatur County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Decatur County, Tennessee. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Full-time with occasional weekends.
