CNC programmer-operator — Essex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Essex County, New York. On a typical shift you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
