Crane operator wanted in Colbert County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Colbert County, Alabama. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
