Mobile crane operator — Martin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Martin County, Minnesota. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
