Gang bricklayer — Lafia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Lafia, Nasarawa State. You will work on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Six days a week, one day off.
