Now hiring: we are hiring an insulation worker in San Benito County, California. The role involves: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding You should have: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
